Modeling and Artificial Intelligence in Ophthalmology (formerly Journal for Modeling in Ophthalmology) is published by Kugler Publications (Amsterdam, Netherlands). This journal has been founded in 2014 with the aim of of providing a forum for interdisciplinary approaches integrating mathematical and computational modeling techniques to address open problems in ophthalmology. My leadership activities include developing the journal structure and mission, assembling the editorial board, leading and organizing annual editorial board meetings, coordinating the development and maintenance of the submission templates in Word and Latex, organizing special issues and managing routine submissions.
